I shall have to think about this one. Whilst it’s considerably cheaper to buy, I think I would have to print it all out in order to read it. There’s something about having a nice shiny new magazine in my hot little hand, which I would find hard to do without. I’d have to print the patterns anyway if I wanted to use them, and I’m sure I wouldn’t read all the articles unless they were printed out - I only do screen reading to scan what I want before I print it to read properly. I expect it’s my age (a long way over 21!). Perhaps the young’uns are happy to read straight from the screen, but I’m not sure about us oldies.
Hi,
I just discovered your magazine in a bookstore in the US. I am wondering if past issues are going to be available online. I am also interested in obtaining the blue shawl pattern on one of your web pages. Is that possible? http://yarnforwardmagazine.co.uk/2009/03/yf-is-now-available-digitally/
Thanks!
Sharon
A novice knitter though I have admired those who knit well for years. Always a fan of learning from those who do it well. I will check back often. It is hard to take yet another hobby up, poor DH. Seriously though, I really do need some glasses….yet I am strangely drawn to the hobby. I will try Helen’s suggestion and print out the patterns…
Are these traditional knitting patterns or the newfangled modern ones that simply befuddle me?
