In case you hadn’t noticed, Yarn Forward added on 2 new issues this summer, and now, instead of 10x per year, we’re a true monthly. Needless to say, that’s kept all of us rather busy! Our summer interns have been helping out, but still — adding two new issues is a challenge at any time of year, let alone summer when so many of us would rather be outside sipping a cold drink! What’s on your needles for summer? I’m knitting a sweater for fall with a modified feather and fan stitch, and designing something for the magazine in some very lovely Debbie Bliss yarn, so no spare moments here! Hope you are all having a lovely summer…

I’m so pleased you decided to add the 2 summer issues. Just because the sun is shining doesn’t mean I want to stop knitting. It just means I’m less likely to knit is 100% wool. I am loving knitting with bamboo, linen and cotton to enhance my summer wardrobe. Knitting isn’t just for cold climates and seasons. If that were the case there would be no knitters in Arizona and Australia, and I know there are lots.
Keep up the great work with the magazine, I always love getting my issue through the door each month, especially now there is no gap!

Being on the other side of the Atlantic I would love to see 16 up on the site, the UK subscribers are having such a great time talking about the patterns in 16, I would love to put a picture to the name.
thanks - love the magazine - am anxiously waiting for news on the new digital subscriber

Hi all,
In issue 18 there was a lovely black jacket pattern which I’d like to try. Trouble is I can’t tell the difference between the front or side selvedge. Any tips would be appreciated.
Thanks.
